LHP

The gentle treatment option for high-grade hemorrhoids. With the LHP technology second to forth degree hemorrhoids can be treated painlessly. With the help of the radial emitting fiber the hemorrhoids can be irradiated from the inside and be shrunk.

There are no large-area wounds which can occur with the conventional surgical removal of hemorrhoids but only a small puncture per node.

The advantages are:

  • No incisions or stitches
  • The anoderm and mucous membranes are preserved
  • Sphincter tissue is not injured
  • Development of connective tissue is stimulated
  • Further decline of the hemorrhoids is therefore prevented
  • Fast recovery
  • Reduced post-operative pain
  • No need for foreign materials like clamps

This technique is safe and causes only minimal pain or discomfort to the patient. Post operative recovery is faster than alternative approaches, with only few complications. Post-operative pain is reduced strongly.

The operation can be done under short anesthesia or regional anesthesia, also under local anesthesia for single segments.
